Ive googled these so called commodores that you australians have and I think there a total wank factor. also y would u put a Buick V6 (Buick Regal 96) engine into a datsun.
Points of installing a ecotec
- Start without problems in the cold & terrible mornings
- 10x more power
- tonz of fun
- finally accomplish burnouts
- POWER & TORQUE OF A 6
- Nice Noise
and last but not least
NO MORE L-SERIES!!!!!!! (u can put it in ur room and worship it there)

Also y would u pretend to be someone your not, Must be the wank factor!!!!

Or just use an L20B, run stupid compression, a massive cam, two massive SUs, and then tell everyone it is better.

Wouldnt bother with a buick as stated above, Ecotech from VS-Y has better aftermarket support and had 147kw in Vs to 152kw in vy!

Vy commo ecotech made 152kw(204hp) and 305nm and can be had for 300-500 complete.

I'll be flying in to Mel-Bourne this morning and I am keen to have a chat to James about all things irrelevant to normal social behavior so maybe I'll report in later as to how amazing this car really is...

Or not. It depends on if I get through my Top Gun movie speech. A bunch of Freddys old mates have nominated it for an award of some sort. Said they're going to give me some jewelry for Katie. A pearl necklace. Can you believe how amazing those guys are. I'd prefer a large ring for myself but a pearl necklace sounds nice too.

Don't you have a nice ring you can wear already? Besides, a pearl necklace would be far nicer for a man like you Tom. It would just suit your style so much more.

Well that did NOT go well... Those mates of Freddy's need to put their manners back in Right in... Oh they loved my speech. But if you remember a few years ago when that SP splashed me with water from a fake microphone then you'll know how I felt today when they cranked that old joke up a notch. There were dozens of them this time. But shaped like penis's. Or peni would be plural I suspect. But instead of water it was warm and sticky. NOT COOL. Xenu will hear about this. I don't care if it was rather tasty although whoever cooked it could have added a bit less salt. Who's going to pay for the cleaning bill to the Xenumobile??? Huh???

Johnny T was outraged. His dance moves were restricted as his boots were sticking to the floor... And he is a man that needs to express himself through dance.

And FYI. I still didn't get any jewelry for Katie.

And as for you James May. Your Zed is still a disgrace. Even if you have changed the wheels to make it look less feminine. But you're not fooling me sir. Oh not fooling me indeed. And I see that you are still wearing that brown vinyl jacket like you think it makes you look cool. Sure it goes well with your flowing locks of hair and you're hazel eyes and those luscious lips... But I digress. Where was I???

And put that bloody 200B out of it's misery. If it were a dog, or a bad actor, it would be shot dead. Or sit on the corner for many years before being featured in a Quinten Tarrentino film.

So I guess the car does have more future than the Zed...

Man this has NOT been a good day!!!

Sounds bad Tom. James May's cars have more of a future than you.

James would probably give his L-series a pearl necklace if he could.

Out of curiosity, is anyone wondering what has happened to this car? I can't be bothered checking, but I'd say there are several pages between this post and the last post that had an update on the car's progress.
