Awesome work Toby. Is there any calculation to the length of the runners (I think thats what they are called) |

hey trent,no calculation on the runners,I was going to make them 150mm (same as rb26dett) but have decided to go longer for clearance of the plenum and it will create more torque of boost..theyre 180mm now made some donuts to go on the end,Also got 1m of fuel rail extrusion bar arriving soon to make the fuel rail out of now,it will make that part a bit simpler

Attachment: Rear crossmember opened up for a 3" exhaust and flanges made up for the efi manifold. Was going to use std flanges and open the ports up,but didnt like the slop on the studs ,also wont weld as nice being cast,so started from scratch with some 12mm flat bar...now its nice and tight on the studs and matched ported

Good work man. On my old rally car (1600, L20B) I had custom Webber manifolds where the inlet runner protruded past the flat manifold and fitted neatly into a step in the head (port). This even takes away any disruption to flow from the gasket or misalignment. I'm chasing a steering box or two that I can overhaul - let me know if you want to sell any. |
