Just found this on another forum that was posted for tonight. Wont apply to any of us but something to think about.
HI ALL,
JUST A WARNING ABOUT THE UP AND COMING KNOX CRUISE NIGHT.
Southern streeters have had a meeting with the knox police and have been told they are going to crack down on all the behavior that has been going on. This is not the majority as usual a few will ensure all will suffer.
there has been quite a few large turn outs and with that some **** heads too.
Anyone encouraging burnouts etc when leaving will be noted. please dont encourage this.
Anyone doing burnouts while leaving, any carrying on on the main road in the area, we have been also told street racing in the area on the night is being linked to the cruise.
If your car should not be driven normally on the road as it is not roadworthy, BE WARNED!!!!
miss behave BE WARNED!!!!
Southerns will be doing everything they can to save the night. So we will be noting rego numbers and handing them in.
If you feel you enjoy the night and see someone ruining it for everyone, let them know your not impressed instead of encouraging it.
For a few we are at risk of loosing the night.
As we all know - 'a tough car sounds tuff even idling'
Please be warned and hope you all can help in addressing this issue with us
pass it around
I wish I'd known about this before I went. I got pulled up for the random defect check, managed to convince the beandick police officer that my locker was a warn diff but still got fined for my number plate not being correctly fitted. After that I wasn't let into the show because my car wasn't a "custom street rod" (I think because I didn't have Chev badges) which annoyed me also because as it turns out dead standard Commodores are. Never mind, I won;t waste my fuel heading up there next time. There was a decent turnout of Datsuns though.
Screw the commercialised Valentines Day, I'll see you all there.
Try saying that to a Red head. She'll snap your cock of and throw it back at you
Well if nothing else I'm safe for another year. But in my experience you're far better off buying women alcohol than flowers. Still, I hope you were a good husband and rewarded accordingly :p
