THURSDAY NIGHT 8.30PM 29 / 1 / /09
cruise route and new meet point below

hey hey OZDAT, how are we all?

29/1/09 will be the fourth baysy mini meet. remember that if you don't tell us you are coming we might leave without you for the cruise.

week 1 we had 7 cars
week 2 we had about 40+ with about 35 at one time, maybe more!
week 3 we had about 15 cars but left early and missed a lot of people who rocked up late.

the meet was created so some locals can get to know each other but has attracted people from all over melbourne and a wide variety of cars. so far we have had no problems with police whatsoever and we want to keep it this way because if we cant get together and park our cars what can we do?

meet point -
bayswater Maccas and Anaconda corner bayswater road and canterbury road. beware speed and redlight cameras on this intersection

cruise to -
hwy kebab cafe - corner springvale road and dandenong road

cruise route -
1. turn left (south) onto bayswater road from anaconda
2. turn immediately right (west) onto canterbury rd
3. turn left (south) onto springvale road
4. turn left (south / east) onto dandenong road and STAY IN THE LEFT LANE
5. immediate turn into the next service lane (KFC) and continue up the end of the servicde lane to to the kebab shop

6. the 19th hole so to speak, head to the beach, prahran, home whereever.

catch you all on thursday night! - Mitcham
(let us know if you are coming i will chuck up a list)

oh yeah i will either be in a vy wagon with vy ss rims with an "etstreet.com" and "obese records" stickers on it, or a sl turbo manual vl stationwagon, all stock except for a set of 16" walkinshaw rims. we are talking mudflaps, roofracks, headlight protecters and 4wd height the lot.

Go up canturbury road to montrose and drive the Mt Dandynong Tourist road either all the way to Ferntree Gully or turn right onto Mountain hwy and head back through towards Bayswater. Prob take about 30 minutes or so. Nice drive and the non locals would get a kick out of it.

I used to love caining it up the tourist road or mountain highway in the 180b dunno if it'd be much fun in a commodore though.

Yes! I have a friend in it. Apparently quite a few get done up, along with Veradas (which he has).

hey fellas its all going on and the thread to read about this is on etstreet, heres the link - http://www.etstreet.com/index.php?showtopic=2869

the cruise will be to highway kebabs which is about 1-200m east of the intersection of springvale rd and the highway (princess)

this has been carefully chosen so it is convenient for baysy locals, others who rock up to the event from the S.E. and anywhere else (close to many main roads) and the kebab joint has great food and is a sponsor of etstreet another forum i am on. add to that the fact that you can go for a hwy cruise or head down to st kilda easily from the cruise point.

anyway thursday night, 8.30, leaving to kebabs at 10:00 see you there. contact me via telephone or pm for any other questions.

(or here so the others know whats going on aswell.)

Nar the purple 180b sedan i used to get round in. Would have been driving with a mates orange sr20t 510 (XDATIK) and another mates blue sr20t 510.

sounds fine when you do come, bring some friends. be sure to contact me via phone or pm with your number as we are considering moving the event to a different meet point a bit more secluded so as to avoid idiots turning up. if we do the venue will be strictly pm / phone / wom

Did you happen to live in lower plenty in around the 2000 bracket? I lived next door to a bloke with a purple 180B who was constantly fanging it around Bayswater. Probably just coincidence.
