Does anyone know if you can get rust repair sections for 1600 rear quarters any more.
I urgently need one as the drivers side on my datto is a bit worse than I thought and really needs a whole new section if possible.

I was working on a 1600 on the weekend that is being built up by the Sydney Datsun Club. They have had a rust repair section donated to them by Nissco, so they are definitely still available.

http://www.nissco.com.au/

The one I was mucking round with looked like it was a good fit too - much better than the rust repair section
I bought from Rare Spares for my car  . Perhaps you could mention that you heard about it via the Sydney Datsun Club project car - would be good for them to know that their donation to the club has brought business in for them. Won't hurt if the SDC ask for more donations in the future either

Do you have any in stock? if so how much?
Decided to do both sides as they are both a bit sad and have been poorly patched up before

I used the Nissco items. Very good fit with limited screwing around.

I'm also interested in this area repair patch for another 1600 rebuild if anyone has any contacts?
Also anyone know where to obtain replacements for the inner sections of the Datsun 1600 lower rear guards - they form the enclosure below the boot floor on either side?

Assuming its a 1600, you can use a section cut from a diagonally opposite front guard to repair rust over the rear wheel arches.

Find a couple of dinted or rusty front guards. Cut out the arch section of the front guard up to the style line and put it on your opposite rear quarter panel. You will see the profile of the two arches is identical.
