Whats the best way to remove old scratched up window tint? Just windex and a razor blade? Or will a heat gun work?

Ring a tint shop mate. I reckon a heat gun and scraper would work, but that would be a guess.

Did mine a month ago. Tint was very old and had gone purple. Used an ordinary hairdryer on the corner to loosen it then slipped a blade underneath. Once I had a grip with my fingers it just came straight off.
The adhesive was still largely stuck to the window though. I used Windex to remove it, but it needed 4-6 goes to get it all off. I believe ammonia might be more effective.

Best thing to get glue residue, or pretty much anything similar off is Dissolve-It, your hands will smell like citrus for a while but it's great stuff.
