hey guys this is my new car to rebuild, which i got of lurchy before he moved back home. At the moment its not much more then a shell but here are some photos from before the strip and then after. The whole car is going back to bare metal, cut all rust out and weld new bits in and so on and so forth.

at the moment my only actual plans are to do the body work for now and prepare for an a15 with 5 speed. But mainly concentrating on getting the body work done and painted till i have money for the engine so will put the original motor back in when painted to get it running as the motor still works. The colour of choise is a dark metallic blue, (2008 onwards hiace blue). But as money is tight my mate is doing the painting as long as i have the body straight...will do some flaring, nothing major but enough to make it look good, and might do some body kitting but am still lokking at it. Who knows what spoilers look good on a sunny and off what car?

I've tried a TRX rear spoiler on my Sunny Sedan & it sort of works. You'd need some sort of rubber strip under it to act as a filler. Paint it to suit & away you go.

Looks like a good project. What ever you do you will end up witha unique car as you dont see many of these cars on the road.

Are you pulling the engine to paint the engine bay?

not a pos.....lurch, i think they just need it. and with the spoiler i will make it part of the car so its not a seperate part of the car. There is now way im putting an L20b in there....i have had enough of L series......for now

well finally i have somewhat of an update....the car is now completely stripped minus a few bits and the engine is out. While the engine is out i will give it a good clean as it is filthy as. I have found more rust thn i originally thought there was. I took the rear bumper off and too my surprise a big freaking whole sitting there looking at me  . As i was wirewheeling the wheel arch (already new there was rust there) it has been "repaired before" bloody bog galore. I will post up some pics of the damage soon when i do a little more rust revealing but other then that, that is all i have done in that time, due to a bub being born and working everyweekend. I am just thankfull i have some holidays to give it a start
