Looks good mate. A 1600 will have way more resale value in the future than a bluey anyway. So I says  you done well.

Really nice car buddy... how much did you get it for?

I am surprised it was engineered with drums at the rear, how does it pull up?

I'm not sure whats surprising about drum rear?

As for price, it was more than an similarly spec'd 120Y would be worth. A lot more.

Will we see you in another 120Y any time soon?

I agree with Riley, I would have thought that you would need to upgrade the rear drum brakes to get it passed an engineer. Although with the LandCruiser 4 spots that's probably going to pull a car this light up pretty quickly.

I can't quite see on the number plate, is it registered in ACT or Victoria?

drum brakes will probably pull up better the first time around over disc brakes, the only problem is the inability to dissispate heat like a rotor/caliper setup so after a few uses they fade alot quicker

Love the colour! not too many like that

Well my mate who had the same setup as yrs got it knocked back in vic, but i guess it depends on the engineer. Sorry for the hijack.

All good. Considering how little braking the rear does anyway, I'm not at all concerned. I know more SR/FJ 1600s engineered with drums than with disks.

Nice buy. I still run drums on the back as well and mine is also engineered.

Its about how well it brakes not weather they're disks or drums so as long as it passes the braking test it will be fine. I ran drums on mine for ages and it pulled up well.

nice buy, some of those sparco bits would be worth a pretty penny. Its easier to get a 1600 to handle well i reckon too, so you've got a head start there. Nice purchase
