sweet, did you notice any loss in the mid range with the easy cams? i guess the response of the disco compensates for that

Difference down low isnt noticable, but you have a point in that I changed to a smaller turbo at the same time. Plus I have a decent midrange due to boost spike, i need to hook tacho signal to the eboost to compensate for it, or ditch the stupid eboost...

the eboost should have a setting that sets where the wastegates start to see pressure, so basically it can stay totally shut until you want it to: eliminating any wastegate creep and making for boost earlier and harder. The thing is if you set this figure too close to your intended boost figure it will spike as you're not giving it enough time to settle. for instance for my 20psi i want to set it at 16-17psi. your eboost 2 is a more elaborate version of mine and my controller goes straight to 20 and holds it all the way so yours should be fine.

interesting that you made 218rwkw at 15 psi and i made 225 at 20 with a bigger turbo. where the hell is my 280! it is farking quick tho :)

Yeah we played with the gate pressure setting but could lose the spike. Pretty sure its a function of cooler piping and setting rpm boost compensation would just be masking another problem.

I was over the moon with the power, always thought people were talking crap when they said their SRs made 220kw at 1bar... You should definitely have a lot more power hiding there somewhere! Some front straight drags are in order I think ;)

i was thinking the same thing, there are a few 220ishkw motors attending so a good front straight rolling start drags will be good comparison.

strange with the eboost, mine was easy and reliable to use

Pretty sure I dont have 220kw any more! A day on the limiter made it feel a bit less powerful...

Yep, got held up in the first two sessions and couldn't get a good run in so the last session was pretty much all out. Thought it may not have been a real good time because it was a bit all over the place (including two wheels off the track a few times  ) but it worked out at a full second better than my previous best time.

How did the girlfriend enjoy it (sorry, I'm hopeless with names  ) ? She seemed to be having a good time in the Micra

All enthused now after datnats :D

I want to buy a welder in a couple of weeks and start tackling the rust, any opinions on a good welder for panel work under $1000?

Also considering some carbon/fibreglass replacement panels, eg rear taillight panel and lower valance, how would I attach them? Just with fibreglass resin or something?

Finally, looking at downsizing front brakes, hopefully without losing braking ability, so i can run 13" wheels. I found this kit:

and am chasing price and suitability, if it works out I will also be after a set of 13x7 libres or rebels :D
