Long time since an update hey...

Couple of weeks ago the 200 developed what seemed to be a ticking noise, but as it got progressively louder it was clear that was leaking from the exhaust manifold. Had a look and found that one bolt was missing totally due to being threaded :( and another had been threaded and was just finger tight.
so the fun begins... Photos coming soon

I used to have a big problem with the studs/bolts/nuts coming out on my z18 exhaust manifold. i ended up tapping out to 10mm installing all studs and helicoiling threads. Seemed to solve the problem

Ok got the manifold and turbo off (what a bitch of a job) realised that there will be no bigger turbo until i get a new manifold as the turbo is almost sitting on the engine mount...
Anyways tomorrow i will be drilling and helicoiling where the head has been threaded.

My turbo is almost touching my mount too :(

So what is it that has threaded? Where one of the studs screws into the head, to hold the exhaust manifold on?

Well its back on the road again!
Going to get some new leads this weekend and was wondering if people just use z24 leads because the z18 was never sold here.

So now that she is all fixed, it is time to start saving for some, "improvements"...

Sweet find there, I always wanted to do something similar (z18 head) but into a bluey.

Matte black and some gloss black logos/stripes/graphics looks real good too

Sick!!!!!

I had a matt black 200B once. It was pretty banged up but still looked cool. What are you planning on doing about wheels, keeping the TRXs or getting something else?
