Hi Guys been on hear snooping around thought i might join and show you what i got.
Enjoy...

BODY:
This was a complete build from the chassie up so everything was completely sripped of all paint to bare metal where rust was fixed and and everything was smoothed and painted. Body dropped 3 3/4 inches traditional style. Sill was chopped to line up with the tray, shaved drip rails around doors and air vents in the piller, still got door handles and hooks on the tub, raised bed floor, tailgate still function and has latches.

Engine:
Engine was dropped a couple inches to fit stock hood, so it has a modified sump and oil pickup, basically a stock L18 with a 5 speed, with twin 40mm dellortos,

Suspension:
It sits on a late model 720 chassis so it's got vented disks on the front, 720 engine, steering, dash. Cantilever set up in the back to get mad lift so it lifts up enough to look vitually stock (minus the leaf hangers), bags are sucked in on the front so it gets good lift there too. 8 3/8 valves, slam 7's in back and slam 6's in front. 9 gal tank, 10 switch switch box

Stereo:
1000W max 300W RMS 12" eclipse sub and 1000W max 300W RMS kenwood amp, 6.5" fusion component speakers and amp, Pioneer head unit, .

Interior:
I'll let the pictures speak for the interior

This thing is nuts!! :hail:

I'm impressed. With the engine swap, I suggest staying with an L18 or an L20B. Or maybe an NA FJ, CA or SR. I don't know how well bags and boost would mix.

In my opinion, Commodore V6s are only good for boat anchors or skids. However, I don't like Commodores, which is may be why. It would be unique if that's that you did.

commodore v6's are pretty good (thou it is a holden!) but in my opinion that is tooo low for me. but hey i like the whole conversion to the 720 chassis, was it an easy was? a straight bolt in for the cab or did it have to be modified?

Engine is basically down to what you want to do with the ute?

if you want a cruiser then go with something thats a bit oldskool and makes a rumble
if you want to do nuts and go fast in a striht line then dosomething like a v6
if you want all round then something like an sr but keep it nice and clean.

It was sh*t on fuel but did do insane skids  but isn't that what the VN was designed to do? If you're after fuel economy get an ecotec or new!

I'm pretty sure you can get kits to put holden/ford v8s/maybe 6s in from a mob in QLD. The 720 chassis is popular as a base for hotrods.

Put a Chrysler Valiant motor in it, if you can find one that'll fit.

That'll make it unique. People have put that commo crap into almost everything.
