Well, being the ever DIYer, I built my own ignition system.
From D!ck Smith I bought the Hi Energy transisterised ignition kit, converted the distributer to Hall effect sensor with 4 segment chopper wheel, used a Bosch GT40 coil and all is SWEET
For plugs, I browsed through the Bosch cattledog and behold and lo they mentioned the Gazelle with FJ20 engine :!:
Those plugs have been great and have not been replaced for years.
Can't remember the number but email me if you want it.

I used a standard bish hi -energy 12V coil, and a power transister from a VL commodore. works fine. I have the original ignition coil / transister setup if need the original item. - Damo
