Plush pile all the way. Loop pile is harder to vacume. Plush looks nicer and is better for the Mrs's toes

Just give Knox Auto carpets a call. You will get a better price. They make them to order. Usally takes a day or two to make up for you (pick the carpet up and save your $$. I have bought 3 Datsun 1600 carpets from these guys. All of them fitted well and are good quality.

I got black plush pile front and back carpets. I think it was around $120 that was 4 years ago. Called the order in on the morning and picked up that arvo. It only takes about 20 mins to mold them up.

No holes. Very easy to do you self. Buy some cheap punches and off you go.

I used tru-fit in dandenong. go along to here (or knox) as there is more than 2 choices in carpet. I used the same grey/black carpet they fit to the new crappy-dores, its a very short plush pile. At the time i enquired (12 mths ago) they were a touch cheaper than knox.

Shag pile for me all the way.
I want to be able to comb the direction of the carpet away from the feature bits.

On a serious note, I got the "plush" from Knox carpets. It didn't fit very well, but fits better now that I have increased the amount of meat on the gearbox with the SR20 Gearbox cover.

Yep you can do that but is a royal pain in the ass if you have to lift the carpet for any reason and then try to find the bolt hole and the holes in the carpet that lines up with them.

Did you order a manual or auto one?

went into tru fit, they were a few bucks more then knox. But they are close to me and as the post above knox wasnt a super good fit.

Atleast they have a few moulds at tru fit.
