Post subject: | Engine Design Utility Update |
Guys, Been fielding a few requests for updates to my engine design utility that ozdat has graciously hosted for almost 5 years now: http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/enginedesign/ I thought I'd put the call out to anyone/everyone, are there engines you want to see in the utility? Or any new features that would be useful etc? If you have engine specs that you'd like in there, it'd really help me out if you added them to the utility yourself by doing the following:

What type of info do you need ? What are you trying to work out ? I've measaure up a lot of KA24DE stuff. And there never was a KA24DET - its one of the few engines Nissan never turbochraged. |

hey guys, I really don't have the time to research all the data for these things. If you guys have ready access to it, or even good links to known good data, that would help enormously. What'd be even better though would be if you entered the data into the page and pressed the 'export' button, and send me the text it spits out at the bottom. The whole point of that feature was to make it easy for new data to be added. Thanks, Dave |

Updated with the VK56DE. As I have one so I'm interested, and all the specs are available in like two PDFs. Enjoy. Again, add it using the interface and click export at the bottom and send me that please if you want something in there. Dave |

Can anyone help with info for the CA18DE they are the same as the DET I know the basic specs but no conrods specs or bearing specs etc. There must be a CA18 Nerd, fan or enthusiast here somewhere!!! Some good info is solid lifters can be used from toyota 1zzfe info from a good member who has a det in a celica for racing. |
