I have been snooping around over on the Ratsun forum for a while now but thought I would see whats going on a bit closer to home, I live up in Townsville and a few months ago picked up this beautiful little ute for $1000 off a mate.
1978 620 King Cab Deluxe with J15.
So far I have put a completely new exhaust system on and got a tounneau cover fitted oh and I am also in the process of putting a sound system in.

Cheers guys and there is not a whole lot up here, a couple of 1200s a few beat up 720's and the odd sedan/coupe but yea mate cruise sounds great.

I was up there in July and saw a baby poo green 120Y coupe, but apart from that I didn't really seen anything! Is there much in the way of parts and things up there? and workshops?

Thanks mate and yea there are a few wreckers around that stock some datsun parts etc but none that are really datsun specific.

Are you planning to change the stud pattern? I was thinking of getting one of these till i saw the front suspention and the stud pattern so id be interested to know if you find a solution. It would be awesome as if you could get some 4 x 114 wheels on there. then again IMO these look awesome if you could get somthing similar in the right pattern

I thought i would be the only one to have a deluxe kingcab in that colour! mines not quite as mint, but has factory bucket seats though. keep us updated, you have a rare ute, look after her
