Mazda RX-7 Series 6??? I think seats in my old Green one. They looked very nice inside. Suited the 16 completely. Bit hard over long distances, and not quite as hugging as some others. But still Great. Cost me about $350 a pair I think.

Had Recaro seats in one of my 1600's. Very comfy but sat a bit to high for me.
They were fitted to the car when I got it.

Recaro Designer Sport into the TRX

custom base frame with the recaro sliders made it far too high (like SBTHOMO stated)

removed the base frame and retro-fitted it to the 910 slides ones rather easily

ignore the tape - the foam has been completely destroyed after 5 years of daily use getting in and out fo the car (poor position as a result of the base frame probably didn't help - nor my increasing waist line) - i used to be a trimmer too but i cant be arsed fixing it if i can just put 100MPH tape over it...

Duct tape fixes everything

bought seat for $250 second hand

black Mitusbishi Starion Turbo Seats in datsun 1600.

Seat Rails sit on rhs sections at the back using existing bolt holes

Seat rails sit on frame at front in new (wider from memory) holes.

nice minimal seat not too modern for the car, adjustable wings, lumbar support, hamstring support and neck support etc

Sorry I dont have any pics handy of them in the car, but in black they look pretty good.

 jealous of all the Recaro, sparco & bride seats

cheapy autotechnica seats (repco) $299 for the pair ..... they look pretty cool for the cost, but are absolutely huge.
custom rails had to be made to sit the seats in towards the middle more...

yeah I have done the same with two 40x40mm SHS just bolted them to the original rails and then have the holes for the seat on the top part of the sections since the holes are on an offset to the original ones, works great and doesn't sit on at a silly height,I've tried just using 5mm plate but the studs on the original rails dont let the seat sit flush and also the position of the seat being that low makes my legs sit on a funny angle in relation to the pedals.

92 charade seats into a 1200 sedan.

Fairly easy to do. Just have to drill some holes, make a support for the trans tunnel side, and some washers to lift everything up to clear the original 1200 rail mechanism/s. Will have to cut some of the foam out of the base, sits too high even for my drumstick legs and a sports steering wheel haha. May try 85 barina seats (they have flat rail mounting areas so should sit lower) if they are hard foam, if not hard foam, will get a good set of 92 charade seats and cut the foam 'till they are right.

27 pics starting with this one, just keep clicking on photo to skip to next one:
