This has probably been asked before but my heater tap on the old datto 1600 is stuffed and I was wondering if anyone has any helpful tips on replacing it while still utilizing the dash heat control? Not too sure about doing the engine bay tap thing but if it works as advertised I may give it a go. Pictures would be handy too, cheers

some one on 1200 club used those metal irrigation/fire hydrant taps for one under the dash, can turn on or off in summer/winter- and works a treat apparently- ugly though
