Car is back from the Panel beater. Looking great, and I have also added a rear spoiler. I'll upload pics when I get a chance.

Still need to do......

1. Signwriting
2. Wheel Alignment
3. Ride height check
4. Check injector seals (i think the E85 is leaking past them)
5. Check engine - comp check primarily
6. Change oil - it smells like E85!
7. Try and fix oil leak from cheap chinese copy Greddy winged sump !!!
8. Two new front tyres.
9. Re-fit fun reducer (restrictor)
10. Track Day!

Injector was leaking. New E85 compatible seals have now been installed and the car is running smooth again.

Compression also done. Dead even compression across all 4 cylinders - awesome!

This weekend I hope to drain oil, fix annoying little leak, change oil filter & fill up with oil.

Would be great to do a tuning day on 24th September, but if not I will definately be back on track testing for the 9th October prior to the Improved Production Nationals on 16 & 17th October.

Wheel alignment
Signwriting stickers
Re-fit restrictor (maybe )

Aiming for test & tne day on 9th October, followed by race meeting on October 16 & 17.

Can't wait to get back in and drive the beast!

Restrictor is back on
New tyres fitted to the front
Wheel alignment booked in for Monday.

I will be at Barbagallo next Saturday 9th October for a test day - Assuming no one buys it before then!

Can't wait to take it for a spin again, the car should be totally different to drive now.

Well the season is over for me...... as is driving the Sunny.

The car has been sold to a new comer to the racing Scene in Adelaide. I wish him the best of luck with the future development of the car and I know he will get out of it with a smile on his face every time!

No, next project is a house, which we hope to build next year. Once that is completed (completed = we have moved in) I will be building an S15 for Improved Production & Super Lap events. Just need to finish the garage on the house before I can buy the new toy.

Watch this space, assuming you guys will agree that an S15 is still a Datsun at heart? (I have saved my Datsun Gearstic Knob to put in the S15 )
