Just wondering if this is a good price? I need everything steering wise for my 1600 just don't know about the quality and price... The drag link is 555 brand but not sure on the ball joints and tie rod ends, but i think they are "road safe" brand.

The seller is Rob from Ringwood auto parts. The Tie Rods are Road safe. The Drag is 555 and the idler I'm not sure. I have bought quote a bit of stuff from him over the years. I'd steer clear of the tie rods, but the rest of the stuff is good quality. Give baz a call and grab his tie rods and ball joints. The quality is just as good as 555 items.

I would prefer to buy em from Baz but don't think he has any atm. maybe i'll call him tommorow.

i used all pedders gear, top quality, fair price.


is that drag link complete?? its just that 240k ones have the 'ball joint' on the ends pressed into them? are 1600 different?

Nar the same mate. Ball joint is part of it. Do pedders make all that stuff do they? Like ball joints and tie rod ends?

Maybe the title should be steering linkage rebuild kit.

I'd prefer tp get it from baz as it's a similar price but i don't think he has anything for a 1600 atm, i'm trying mad dat as again its a similar price, if all else fails i'll be getting that kit though.

I've called datsport and mad dat and i think while i wait for one of Baz's kits i'll just buy the kit from RAP and see how i go with it. As far as all up kit price it is fairly cheap and the drag link is a 555 one, so i wont need to replace that when i replace the ball joints and tie rod ends with SSS ones.

pedders have thier own brand on tie-rod ends, ball joints. the drag link wasnt pedders brand though, got a new one interstate, unsure of brand but it was made in Japan(so it cant be that bad)
