I have never ever seen one before in real life, seems to be in a pretty good condition.
Will do a lot of research before is start some basic modifications, new, better suspension, try to find new rubbers for everywere in the car, fix a proper carpet in it, maybe a modern engine or something.

Thanks for looking!

Eric

Well, on the papers it says it is an 1800, so it must be some sort of 1800 engine, havent found an engine code yet.
It is only a four cilinder.

Oh... I thought they were 6 cylinder engines lol. My bad. TRhey look long enough to have a 6 in em. Could be good engine conversion wise :)

Just found this on another part sof the forum:
sbthomo wrote:
This is the first-generation model which debuted in April 1968. This car was developed to fill the gap between the Bluebird and the Cedric. The same suspension system as the Bluebird (front = strut, rear = semi trailing-arm) was adopted, along with the G18 engine, based on G15 that had been originally developed by Prince Motor. A 2-door hardtop version was added to the lineup two years later.

Laurel 1800 Deluxe B (1968 : C30)
So i guess it wil be a g18 engine.
There is plent of room for an l24 indeed :)

Or an rb25de, with itb's :D

I STOLE THIS FROM WIKIPEDIA
Quote:
G-18

5-bearing, short-stroke, V-type valve arrangement, multi-ball-type combustion chamber, the G18 employs an aluminum cylinder head and engine-performance.

The G-18 was a 1.8 L (1815 cc/110 in³) variant. Its 85 mm (3.3 in) bore was the largest in the range, and the 80 mm (3.1 in) stroke gave it good oversquare dimensions. It was an SOHC cross flow cylinder head design like the G-15 and produced 105 hp (78 kW) and 108.5 ft·lbf (147 N·m).

This engine was replaced in 1975 due to tightening emission regulations and replaced with the L18
Sounds like a fairly advanced engine for it's time; SOHC, Crossflow.

If you're interested (and not in a hurry as I'd have to find it  ), I have a workshop manual for the G18 motor. I think its a genuine factory one ?? Could be mistaken though ??

I can scan it and send a copy if you like.

EDIT: Found it - its only 36 pages, covers the G18 engine, fuel system, front suspension , steering and brakes for a C30. I was mistaken about it being Nissan, its actually a supplement to some other manual printed by "InterEurope".
