Also interested in this!
I was considering making some myself out of some alloy sheet. But it'd be a bit of a hassle and only really be flat.
I tried fitting some plastic ones from a KA laser (i think that was the model that was recommended) but they were a bit of a poor fit, although i've heard of other people having success with them so i dunno???

At worse, I'll get mine as straight as possible, fill them and paint them. I dont want too as I like a alloy look!

There was some on ebay a while back in great nic, should have grabbed them!

Cheers

Pretty sure Randy at Nisco had some made up a few years back. They were stainless and had datsun 1600 laser but into them.

there's a seller on ebay called tokyo-2u. his name is craig and he currently lives in Japan. all he does is strip datsuns over there and sell the parts here. he is always selling the scuff plates on ebay. usually about 150 depending on condition. i got mine from him and will look A1 after a good polish.

Ive decided to do away with the scuff plates cause thats what I like for my 1600

I've come up with a way to fit a smooth trim for the front and back floors, and the center section and pillar all trim up almost smooth, then around the door frame a pinchweld holds the trims and carpet

Looks pretty smick so far, but im holding off covering for the second time, as im still not happy with my paint n polishing

For those that like the original ones I have nothing aginst them, but its the look I went for instead of reworking some when they arnt really needed

I have heaps of banged ones

DATWILLDECM8 - you could always buy some 3M clear film and stick it down on your painted surface a-la new car accessory "protective foil" kits. stops you scratching up the paint, but keeps the colour. you don't even notice the things are on there until you take a good look.

A company in the US is making carbon ones, they look decent for the price. I think they do 4 door ones as well.
