Ok, today i noticed that the inner tie-rod ends where they bolt onto the
drag link are very close the the crossmember (infact it slightly rubs when i turn the wheel) i dont think it was like this before i rebuilt all the front end

i think i could possibly have the idler arm bolted in the wrong position? it is in the middle set of holes, is this right?

is it possible i have the struts reversed, would that make a differance??

your idler arm should be hanging at the same angle as your pitman arm is.
I dont think reversing the struts can change the position of the draglink.

Check the taper on the inner links,
you either reversed the center link or fitted the inner tie rods on the wrong side.
the links do not face the xmember.
they fit like these ones. 200B are the same as Skyline.
