Hi

I was searching for a car made in 1967,same as me, and saw various types out there
that were too expensive or ugly. I was looking around at MGB' when I found a fairlady.

Took it for a testdrive, sort of liked it then after a bit of haggling settled on a price
and bought it.

needs work, but what 43 y/o cars doesn't! Seems that most of the out of site work has been
completed and there isn't much rust. Engine seems to be ok too. Interior and wiring will need a look at
but at the moment, it is completed drivable and thats what I've been doing!

One day, in a time far far away, perhaps I'll be driving mine around

Likewise :( That looks very neat and tidy. I'd say just drive and enjoy it for a while before you do anything to it, that way you will find out exactly what does and doesn't need attention.

thanks guys

I think that is good advice so I'll do that.

Winter coming up, so maybe I'll spend some time in the garage on those
days where going out wouldn't be too much fun.

Roll bar and new seatbelts. Wife wouldn't let me go out in it today
because she has a problem with them. Didn't bug me at all.
Nope, why would I get annoyed that I couldn't take my datsun
out on a pleasant day, along a 6km windy road to football!

Always liked the Fairlady.

Hmmm, I don't know if i'd put a roll bar in one.

I thought that the rollbar
just sort of set it off nicely

Plus, it you're upside down then
you might have a better chance of
your head staying attached!

Of course avoiding being upside down
in the first place is hte better way to go!
