 Post subject: Return springs

Can anyone tell me where I can get brake shoe return springs for stanza rear drum brakes. Can;t find them anywhere. Thanks

Cause I can. Throw the drums in the bin and do a disk conversion.

Or just do what anyone would do and pick up the phone and ring a brake supplier or goto a wreckers and find some to suit.

I did the rounds of wreckers & brake suppliers before posting - no luck. As soon as you mention drum brakes at the wreckers their eyes fog over . One of the major brake places here said he had not sold a return spring in 60 yrs of business. I have sourced them from Melbourne. I am interested in the disc brake conversion , can you give me some details ?

You could get the from a 200B, as I think the rear brakes are virtually the same. I also know 260Z drums are the same size, so those may work as well.

Return spring will vary on year model.
If you have a BW diff then the 200B ones will fit.
