The 2 clips sit either side of the rear vision mirror.

yep, but do they face forward or aft. Meaning do the visors hook in from the windscreen side or the cabin?

The visors hook in from the windsreen side. Also if you are gentle with a small screw driver or pen or something else you sholud be able to feel the holes in the metal through the roof lining. From memory these clips have a srew hole and a locating pin. You may need to poke hole through roof lining first if you have used cloth or velour so it doesnt pull the fabric when you tighten screw.

Thanks heaps. I have the rectangular locating pin hole but not the screw hole which is why i am confused. I'll have another prod around and if worst comes to worst, I'll carefully cut out a small section of roof lining and drill a small hole for the screw
