another winter freezer winton track day, good times again. ange pulled out a 1:46 which i thought was awesome for a first track day! car must be getting sorted nicely - i think the bug has bitten  lots of dat's in attendance some testing cars some attending from NSW was a good time up in sunny winton natsoft times: http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/resul ... 7/2010.WIN |

Was a top weekend guys both on and off the track I had alot of fun even with my carby dilema's preventing me from getting a half decent time  .Was great to meet the nsw boys and was very impressed with both there car's and time's for there first crack at winton also ange's 1.46 awsome! Im sending carby off this week for repair and then am going to look at doing a few piarc days with some driver instruction at the island so I can pick up a few tip's Im pretty confident I can crack a mid 1.40 somthing around winton with a car that behave's and a bit more practice  hopefully we can have another big ozdat/1200.com turnout at the next one

Yeah, terrific day boys. Was a shame I didn't get the time to chat with many of the Datsun crew, plenty of car dramas and the handbrake was with me! I was very impressed by the lap times of the two 1200's and the rotary 1200 ute... it was a well presented - VERY quick little jigger first time out. I had a great day racing, up against lots of good cars and good drivers on a slippery Winton - I've never seen so many people come off the track, or been so out of shape myself. A good day (a personal P.B.) and datsuns 1,2,3 in H1 Class. |

I certainly had fun, even cracked into the 43's which shocked me when the Missus told me (on the way home in the car - thought she was pulling my leg). Look forward to seeing you boys up there again...I'm sure the bug has bitten |

yeah i had an awesome day... the racing bug has bitten for sure if i have my way ill be spending a lot more time on the racetrack in a datsun! |
