Does anyone have access to some inserts?

If you have a set of verniers and an insert handy, can you measure the shaft width for me and post up?

I'm mainly interested in 2 measurements, 1 from a generic kyb shock, and 1 from a koni.

Most are pretty interchangeable between models.

I know koni's are different (thicker) from KYB in some applications. I'm getting some coilover spring hats made so want to know what's available or being used.

I know that 10mm is a fairly generic size, but keen to hear from ppl if there are more than 2 varied sizes for datsuns.

7/8" shaft size for Datsuns, Koni or otherwise.
They use a larger spherical in most generic strut top's and a set of bushes to make up the diameter depending on what size insert is being used.

Cheers for the reply, made some calls and 11.8mm thread size is common to. Will do what you say and just use a bearing or insert if needed.
