Plenty of other datsuns came with live axle suspension. And it is still possible to find IRS 200Bs.
Your first point is a pretty good attempt at an association fallacy (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Association_fallacy). The number of other datsuns that came with live axle suspension is irrelevant to my point, which aims to address your the original statement:
I've said it many times, no one has been able to justify to my satisfaction what it is about the 200B they don't like.
My point was justification for the dislike of a component of the 200B, given the assumed (though arguable) inferiority of live-axle suspension.
Your second point contradicts your first point. If there is nothing wrong with live axle suspension because `plenty of other datsuns came with [it]', why is it relevant that 200Bs also came with IRS? Wouldn't that make those 200Bs inferior?
Oh, and why the hell are we arguing about ugly datsuns noone cares about in the Pizza thread?
