Hello,

I have a fairly tidy Datsun 1000 two door. And I'd be interested in helping out with the automotive procession!

I have a friend with a completely restored Datsun 1200 ute.

Also has a white 1000 four door which is fairly neat as well.

All of the cars are in Adelaide NE suburbs ( Golden Grove, Davoren Park).

I don't get on this forum much. Best to reach me over on datsun1200.com (same username) or zap me an email.

If you guys can come, it will be cool we will just do a bit of a convoy down to the ceremony and a few photos and sh*t after if you dont mind hanging around for a little bit. At this stage i have my 1600 and 2 other 1600's coming my car is looking like its going to be the worst out on the day, ha ha. Im regretting selling my other cars even more than usuall at the moment.
Cheers,
Ben

I got the engine out and I'm rebuilding it as we speak so, so far so good. I found both piston rings in about 60 pieces (on cylinder one) and the motor was still punching hard so I'm super keen to see how she runs as a fresh motor!

We're very keen to come, there hasn't been a cruise for a while so it'd be good to go for a drive and be a part of a Datsun wedding!

Cheers.

Cool mate cheers, let me know how you get on.
Sounds like your motor is gonna grunt when you get it back together.
Cheers

Congrats on getting hitched!
I had two 1600's as my wedding cars also but it was 42deg!
Hope the day went well for you both.
I like how her dress matches the duco.
