Car has been going great so far.
Been daily driving it while the Datto is out of action (mods)
I can fit my mountain bike in the back without taking any wheels off! Awesome.

Just clocked over 102,000 k's
Average fuel economy over the life of ownership (31,000 K's) is 13.2k/100L
Best: 9.66L/100K (drove over to Adelaide and visited some wineries, and Baz!)
Worst: 15.85L/100K (driving around peak hour to a few crazy places for work)

I have replaced/Fitted the following: (in no order)
1. Fitted a new exhaust (Fujitsubo Legalis for NM35) from the cat back as the old one collapsed due to rust. The difference in economy was impressive, as was the quality of workmanship. Imported in from Japan by Jesse Streeter who did a great deal including packaging.
2. New CV boots on the front, as one of the boots died and sprayed grease everywhere. Minimal damage as it was spotted early.
3. Set of windscreen wipers
4. New tyres. Damn this made a heap of difference. I had the compliance tyres on it and the whole thing was bouncing around. I thought it was the shocks/springs but it was just crap tyres. They were inflated to the correct pressure, but they were just weak sidewalls. New tyres rock!
5. V35 inlet Power Duct. Allows a little bit more induction noise, and slightly better economy. Bought brand new from Nissan! Easy to fit.
6. Custom Plates
7. "My groceries are faster than yours" sticker on the back

Heated leather seats rock. GTR AWD system rocks.
5 speed automatic is just OK. A little sluggish, but otherwise pretty good.

I'll be coming up for new disks and pads pretty soon, and maybe a new dump pipe for a bit more squirt/economy.

I've fitted some crazy stuff in the back. Everything from two mountain bikes, to a treadmill (had to put the front seats forward to fit the box in! It fitted though!), fridge, car parts, shopping - HAhahahah...

I also really have to change the CD player. It's an old school Kenwood with the funky double DIN graphical bright lights Japanese style. Pretty funny. Need something a little more updated with blue tooth etc.

Recommended buy. I also like the fact you can access the spark plugs fairly easily. The oil filter is at the bottom, so dumping the oil is easy.

I ended up putting one of Scotty's (http://scottyscustoms.com.au/) dump pipes made from stainless steel. He helped me fit it as I was hearing a heap of comments about how difficult it is. He's got a hoist too!
The fitted Fujitsubo Legalis exhaust is a little droney when the car is cold on idle warming up, but sounds ace though and is reasonably quiet.
Replaced the AFM (from Scotty too) which was a damn load cheaper than a genuine Nissan one after it wouldn't start at a service station. I ended up unplugging the AFM to drive to nissan for them to do an ECU check for fault codes. Turned out it was the AFM. Rang Scotty and he fitted it in Nissan's car park. BAHahahahaha...
Also replaced the pads/rotors on the front and pads on the rear as the front rotors were getting a little low. (still the originals!)
I'm running QFM HPX from memory and RDA rotors.

Coming up for some new rear tyres a rear wheel alignment (should've done this ages ago), and a few bushes in the front end.

Typical economy at the moment is anything from 7.2L/100 highway (long trip 4+ hours) to around 13ish about town in stop start peak hour traffic.

Bloody good car and I am very happy with it. Might have to sell it soon (I don't want to) as I am going to be moving house and don't have the room for 3 cars... Will never sell the Datto which is going to a garage on another property... Might have to sell the missus car, but I don't want both our cars on the street.

So you got economy down from 9.8 to 7.2L by fitting the mods.

There is proof alone to the respective other halves that we should be allowed to mod cars.

Have you fitted Scotty's intake setup yet? Read that it also helps with spool and economy

Haven't wanted to fit the intake mod, as I would then have to get the car tuned.
I didn't particularly want to modify the car, it's just basic reliability mods. The removal of the factory cast dump reduces the amount of heat going through the turbo after shut off which minimises the coking up of the 1mm oil orifice.
Reliability is where it's at for me! Plus I don't want two cars to work on! One is enough. HAhahaha.
