That's a tough looking FJ! Especially love the ITB's and dry sump setup. So nice.. Looking forward to seeing more progress

I must say that all is coming along well now that I have built Cam a new carport with room to work on the old girl. With out a doubt the interior of the boot could make it to the moon on two tanks of my JFP 100 easily and the engine bay not to far behind. Can't wait for the show down at Rob Roy between the L- Series and the FJ. It would be embarrassing to see a L-Series put you away.

Keep at it. Can't wait for the finished product.

Have there been any updates on this project - it is one of the more inspirational builds for all the NA FJ buffs! Any news would be great to hear about when you have a chance?

Great stuff thanks DC. Looks like its going to be just the ticket!
Cant recall the name of one of the greatest engine gurus but he stated the ideal stroke for his choice of engine would be 94mm.
One more question do you know the valve angles on the FJ?
Toyota has gone back to bigger valve angles on their latest 4
its a very interesting write up if you look it up, long stroke etc.
