One for the more knowledgable than me!
My 1600 wagon is currently running 240K struts up front which are knackered. Now I have an '81 Bluey wagon sitting in the front yard which I scored for free and I've heard the front struts from that will bolt straight into my 1600, but I need to know if this is going to change my front track width at all??
The front rims I have earmarked for my project are going to be sitting out flush with the guards as it is, so if the front track is going to be wider, I'll have to re-think my rim choice.
BTW, I am planning on changing over to a Datsport fitting kit too if that makes any extra difference.....

All help is much appreciated!

I have CAD diagrams of 240K struts / hubs that another forum member gave me, but no comparable bluebird ones.

Since you have both 240K and 910 struts in cars, the easiest way would be to measure the gap between the inside edge of the tyre and the strut tube on one car, then fit the same wheel / tyre to the other car and measure the same spot.

The difference between the two measurements will be, well, will be the difference.

Be aware though that not all struts have the same tube angle and position.
910/R30/R31/S12 appraently all have 'offset' strut tubes compared to 1600.
Therefore comparing those two struts will probably give you dodgey measurements...
