Mate that looks ouch with the S15.
You may have troubles converting the 6speed S15 GB into the 1600. There are some issues apparently with that with the drive and sender and a few others, but I think a guy in NZ has done it.
In regards to brakes and struts etc. You're asking questions with endless possible answers. Depends on the fitting kit you're using. How much money you want to spend. How much work you want to do.
Standard reversed x-member will lend you to 240k struts, and upgraded brakes or 200b struts with RX7 brakes (mad dat) /Hilux callipers & verada rotor combo, holden WB brakes with other disks combo. 180b struts with VL turbo calipers. There are heaps of choices.

Pretty sure you can use the stock loom and Ecu. But will need to be shortened to fit the datto. PLMS are a good bunch who can help you out with that http://www.plmsdevelopments.com/

This should be made into a thread in the member's ride's section, and you'll be bombarded with advice. I suggest doing a search, and reading through others projects for advice. Personally. I like the R31/32 strut z32 brake combo with the 200b front end. You can do that yourself if you research enough and have the know how and tools.

But welcome to Ozdat, and have fun in the Datto game. We're all happy to help, but make sure you do some research yourself. The search button is your friend :)
