hey this is my ute and i have had it for about 2 years ,and i am now 17 so i need to get it ready for the road by the time i get my P plates

THE PLAN

the plan was to keep the A14 in it that i had ,but after doing a head gasket and finding that the bore was gone too far (60 thou over) and it needed bearings aswell ,i gave up and pulled it out ,painted the bay and started building a decent A12 (all i had at the time) and i decided to put a set of twin 40mm phh solex sideys on it a cam in it and a H89 head on aswell
but now i have a microtech d4s computer and a V27 turbo with custom manifolds and a nice little hiden intercooler
, so after spending around $2000 setting up and rebuilding the carbys (without tuning) i will be shelfing the carbys or selling them instead of letting them rot away
MISC
it also has a 1,3/4 inch mild steel exhaust system with a super cat muffler
lowered king springs and 3 inch blocks in the rear
it also has (IMO) a nics set of 13x6.5 jellies with 185/60/13 but im getting 205/55/13 front and back
modded escort strut brace polished
custom made fibre glass chin spoiler (looks tuff)

INTERIOR
daytona fixed back race seat
tiny steering wheel
short shifter
clarion head unit
retrimmed head lining and sun viser thingo's

BRAKES
late 120y disc brake struts and pbr calipers
rebuilt drums in the rear

and so far i have done everything on the car myself apart from painting the engine bay and doing the exhaust system

cool car man just wondering isnt the throttle cable really sticky with the cable doing such a sharp bend off the rocker cover?

no it works awsome!

i see what you mean but i think its just the pic that makes it look bad,
but ive got the linkage arm mounted just right so it doesnt bind or work on a bad angle

hey mate ,radiator is out of an n13 ga16 pulsar from memory

and i end up giving the discs to a mate whos putting them on a sedan ,r31 discs and calipers with modded brackets

ute has been rolled unfortunatly so im chasing a new shell!
