Ah mostly, just need to buy a dash mat, new wiper blades and some bushes... Got some brand spankas halogen lights all round up the front today, keen to test them out.
My interior is a bit tatty, but not much i can do on my nonexistant budget. Hopefully ill score a headset and some 4 way 6'x9' speakers in the near future so i can crank it up.
Also, my spare stanza out the back has factory a/c... sooo im not sure how much itll cost me to put it in mine, as in i dont know how much chop the parts are (ie evaporator, compressor reconditioning etc).. a/c is a bit of a taboo for me..

The A/C is somewhat like a lego build. Just be gentle on the parts when undoing them, lube them up and keep the dirt away from the seals on the high pressure system.

It will all assemble together at the other end. You just need to transfer basically most of it into your onw.

Once it's all in, you will need to get the compressor seal changed for the new gas (R134a?) or at least a new compressor, and re-gassed.

Dunno what that's like for prices, but I guess you'll find out. Personally I had ice-cold aircon (when it wanted to work) in the paddock basher Stanza. Worked a charm, but took it out to save weight in the front end so it wouldn't bottom out quite so much.

If you've got all the factory parts, you're laughing.

The car looks great and nice to see a yellow Datsun like mine[we call them Datsun 1800j in South Africa before 1978 and stanza after 1981]

Ah!, Cheers of the info on the aircon mate! Ill get stuck into it when everything else is sweet on the car. If upgrading the compressor isnt too dear, ill deffs look into it :D

Haha, thanks 1800j, i thought i was being original with the yellow, but cars seem to be popping up everywhere!

Anywhos, got the car through roadworthy on the second attempt... The mechanic is good mates of my dad so i guess they took a blind eye to the gearbox conversion and some other small stuff... Its got all new halogen light and alternator wiring to suit, along with new fusable links and a bit of a tidy up in terms of the wiring. It needs a really good buff and polish, the windows especially... And the 16' wheels just need a paint and ill slap em' on!

For your viewing pleasure ;)

Well, as promised, pics with the 16"s on. Thanks for the comments guys, i think it looks pretty good too. Keep getting looks from people on the road, not used to it aha. Also keep getting idiots trying to drag me off at the lights, mostly commondores  Its actually thirstier than i thought it would be, filled it up 2 days ago and gone through half a tank... might be due to the 16"s having a slightly bigger rollout, or my heavy foot, im not sure. Ahwells! :)

Thanks guys, sorry havent replied, i dont go on here that much. Bit of an update, just giving the motor an overhaul at the moment. It was supposed to have a cam, flat top pistons blah blah, but i should have realised that was a load of wank. Pulled it out and stripped it down the other day to find a shabby stock motor. Anyways, long story shot, A87 head (i think its open chamber :/) is getting reco'd, the block had a lip in it, which is probably what broke the comp rings on cylinders 3 and 4, so its getting bored, honed and decked. Crank and cam are getting reground blah blah, so it'll end up being around 2100 bucks, fun times. Ill post pictures whenever i can be bothered :P
