All I was saying was to get some wheels on it, not body drop it and fit a turbocharged LS1.

How do you know the previous owner hasn't done all that stuff, and you are just basking in the reliability?
I think he would have told me if he'd replaced something like a clutch. I

I do too actually, or at least ones that have gone fine for a year or two. I guess it depends on how long you can afford to have the car off the road and how much doe you're willing to throw at it. But I guess there's a reason almost everyone on here drives newer, virtually standard cars as their dailies.

^^^ hahaha

I'm in a way glad I have a late model car. Dunn have to put up with sh*t falling off, or engines going pop because of doggy maintenance...

Anyways to be back on topic, when is the next cruise???

Go to Rye or perhaps even have a night at the drive-in cinema???

I must be backwards, I try to tight ass my way out of a daily, means I can make the toys better.
PLus I'd just mod a newer car anyway, leading to excessive tyre wear, broken cv's and clutchs  while trying to pay it off.

Whens the next cruise you ask, wack a thread up and organise it.
Not keen on a beach etc cruise tho

Hey guys do you think i can fit 19s on my wagon. my mate has 18s on his datto so i figure if i roll the guards a bit i can fit 19s. also i have a rb25 dett i was thinking of putting in it, do you think it would be much work. Like what would be involved like. Its just i have it sitting here so i figure i might as well put it in. and besides my dad can twist two bits of wire together and i have a mate that did an oil change once so that practically makes him a mechanic and he said he would help.

Anth the photo was classic

Revhead the beetroot was inspired by the photo of lurch getting out of his zed with a pinapple for a face from buxton #2, i was originally going to crop a pinapple or beetroot wherever jimmy poped up in the photos but then CBF'ed

And i rather the hills then the beach for cruising however im up for any kind of ozdat event

That would mean that the elitists would have to expose their million dollar datsuns to salt air!! Sounds like another 200b cruise...

We have this cruise to Marysville happening in a bit over a month: http://ozdat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=24458.

Everyone should come. Whether you're in an auto 180B wagon (with or without 19s), a million dollar Datsun, or a Commodore wagon (I'm only putting this in for you RevHead) you're welcome to attend.

Didn't see you turn up in a Datsun on the Buxton cruise... Some of us even had to park next to your commodore

 What was even funnier Nik, was when people had the choice of parking next to May's 260Z and that 200B, or RevHead's COmmodore. And everyone picked the Commodore!
