you dont need a whole dash just the dashpad it unscrews from underneath, may have to almost pull it all out to find the screws though.

may just get the rest recovered in vinyl and just get a new top part like u said.
rims are probably last on the list as its not a huge problem atm. interior will be first. then lowering blocks. then rims.

What an excellent colour

That's a decent score assuming the L16 is engineered into the car. It should make a fun project. I was in the same boat as you at one point, I started fixing the 200B I still have now when I was 14, hopefully you will have slightly better luck than me!

whats the differnce between the L20b?
its fine as is now n considering its only got 60,000k's since a rebuild not worth ditching it yet.
starting making a centre console up 2day as the din slot 4 my radio aims only at me. but cause i have a 7" screen i want it 2 face straight. so im making 1 from scratch then carpeting it.

where do i get lowering blocks from?

The L20b is a larger engine over the L16.
Ive heard that the L16 revs smoother and higher, but the L20B has alot more torque.
Again this is just what I have heard, not from experience

Nice car. Forget engine swaps. You already have one of the best engines in it anyway. L16's are heaps better tan the standard A12 and it wil do you plenty for the time being. As the old saying goes. 'If it aint broke, Don't fix it.' How much did you pay for it and is it on the road at the moment?

Good Score! Why worry about an L20B when an L18 would do, & it's the same height as the L16. Just a thought. Instead of lowering blocks, you could get the rear springs de-arced. I got the leaf springs on my Sunny panel van done by a 4wd spring maker, he said it was a pleasure to be able to pick up a spring with only 1 hand :) . As for the interior, a motor trimmer should be able to get the crash pad recovered. I'd also see about moving those 2 gauges up above the radio, where you have a empty hole. There's usually a little pocket sort of thing goes there, but it's the perfect spot for gauges, just need a little bit of plastic to make the surrounds, or maybe some thin MDF. A set of SSS carbies would be good in that engine bay, too.

nice ride, great starting point aswell :P the ford xb hardtop scoops dont look to bad on the side, though painted green might look better
you might be able to just respray you dash with some black vinyl paint to cover the overspray and for the top cover, you can get some marine vinly for $5-$10 and recover it yourself(its easy).

most jap 4s have the same pattern i.e mitsubishi(colt, sigma),toyota's(just not the early ke10/ke20's models),most 4 stud nissans
