Post subject:  Mystery Strut Identification - time to strut your stuff...

Hi All, I hope someone out there can help me identify these struts. I was told that they are 240K GT - ie the 270mm type, problem is the caliper mounting points are the same as my 240K GL ones - the 253mm caliper type, so obviously not the GT version as was claimed. The hubs from my 240K GL struts slide on ok, and visually they look the same apart from the usual 10 digit part number is not on the tubes, all that is there is a four digit number on tube below spring perch;

RH - 7706
LH - 7715

There's no other Nissan markings that I can see and the lower stub axle castings are different. Can anyone tell me what these actually are?

Thanks in adavance and :hail: to anyone who can help.

Greg

OK got my answer today when I picked up a set of REAL 240K GT struts - the ones I have with just the four digit part number on tem are the early 200B struts, basically the same as the early 240K GL (Sedan).
