I've had club reg on my 1600 for about 4 years and it was on club reg before i got it.
Pretty straight forward, all you need is a RWC or get it signed off by the club scrutineer, the only pain is you have to go into Vicroads just to pay the bloody thing.
I'm in th NDSOC, havent had a problem at all, it was signed off with a completely stripped interior, cage, race seats, no original seat belts, battery in the back seat and lots of fibreglass panels ets, so no where near "roadworthy".
The only other change with the new scheme is an annual car inspection, i missed the mass one but im gonna arrange a time hopefully very soon.

Yeah me either, you just need a club rep to sign your rego form every year for your renewal.

Yeah I hadn't heard of it either untill the "Annual club permit inspection day" was held. I missed it but met with my clubs rep on saturday.
He just did the same inspection as when he looked it over when i first got the car rego'd 4 years ago.
In the years before I'd just mail the form to him and then go pay it.
I assume its the same with other clubs? I could be wrong.

It's probably just a club policy to check every year.

Leigh. What are you doing to the car to keep it from 'degrading' over the year?
Are you going to get someone to start it occasionally, or drain the fluids and just let it sit?

I'm sure you'd have some people on here willing to give it a docile drive down to the local or something :D

This is only really a club rule not a Vic roads rule.
