Oh damn, me and a mate are heading down, first time out on the track, would have been good to have some familiar faces around.

So what's the process? Do I need engineers rep? I'm with piarc as well they say I need a rwc. Is that all?

problem is now leigh that the rwc rules have changed and most places now, soon to be all rwc testers are required to take pics of you car with the wheels off etc.
Makes it harder to get dodgey rwc's.

Riiight, are these new laws in place? The thing about a roady is a bit weird because ch plate cars are stripped interior caged up cars often... How do they pass?!

The only other way to do it Leigh is find a club that inspects and approves the car themselves instead of getting a roadworthy. But the problem there is how strict they wanna be, might be worse than trying to get a roady!

The inspection is a "safety inspection" and the clubs have a checklist to work through. You should check out the websites or contact clubs approved to administer the scheme like ndsoc or CSA. You have to join the clubs first and retain financial membership, otherwise the permit becomes invalid. The permit is non-transferable so you can't sell the car with the permit. As far as I know, annual inspections are a requirement of the scheme. Got mine done through CSA who were very helpful, inspection was very straightforward.
