Hi all, This is my project for the next few years.
Its a 1962 1200cc 320 ute. I have all the original parts (I think!) although many of them are in drastic need of referb.

That should keep you busy (and broke) for a while.
Are you doing a pure resto, or are you upgrading some things?

i want to do a pure resto but I am already having trouble getting parts so I think I may have to settle with as close to original where possible and make the rest. thought about putting a 3.8 from a commodore in it but thought better!

Finally an update. well its blasted and primed. The poor old girl has had a tough life, many bolts have been welded to the frame by past owners, only a tiny bit of rust though. I scored some six stud discs and hubs from an old mazda ute so I think I'll upgrade the brake situation so the decision has been made on the true original restoration front.

File comment: It took me ages to get off. The previous owner welded the bolts to the brackets so i had to cut them and the bush casing is stuck fast to the spring

File comment: finally primed, I am going to take the bump stops off but I will have the cut them as the nuts have rusted round
