That looks great mate. Just noticed in one pic that you used PVC hose for fuel tank breather....might eventually go hard/brittle. I've changed a few cars over in the past and used proper fuel hose, takes a bit to find the correct size though. Love the engine bay detail also.

Thanks guys.
I ended up getting the fuel breather tube from Clark Rubber, it's suitable for petrol and oil. I gave up trying to find proper fuel line in the sizes I needed so went this way. All seems fine so far, but I will keep an eye on it.

Hey guys. I finally got around to cleaning up the boot. It was one of those jobs I've been putting off for a while now, but got stuck in and I'm pleased with how it all turned out. I ended up raising the boot floor 30mm so can now fit a 205 wide spare in there and still have a nice flat floor with easy acces to the spare if need be. Any way pictures tell a better story.

wow!, If my boot looked like that I would actually use it to put my groceries in when shopping.

I find that my 195 tyre doesnt fit under the fuel tank. did you raise your tank as well as the floor to fit the 205?

Thanks guys.
Yeah mate, fuel tank is spaced up and the tyre is still a snug fit under the tank.

Nice work Travis, how did you raise the floor, did you have any pics? Did you mount any brackets on the body to support the MDF?

Cheers,

Trent

Thanks guys.
With the floor i just used a couple of bits of 70x35mm timber. The 2 main pieces run from the tank panel to the rear panel, both side pieces of the floor are screwed to these around half the width of the timber and then the centre piece sits on the other half. I used 2 more pieces to support the centre of the side pieces.
The only piece thats actually screwed to the body is the tank cover, i just used the factory mounting points for that. The rest is just a nice snug fit, when the centre piece is pushed in it just locks it all together.

Hope that makes sense !!
