tailights that fit. off some form of jap 230series maybe gloria not sure. got them off ebay a while back. illegal without the amber indicator lense i would say

yeah it was painted in 2pack. so sprayed a silver basecoat then sprayed 2 coats of HS clearcoat over the top. No buffing required for the gloss.
have fitted up the side glass, 90% of the interior, door rubbers, rear mouldings, drip rail mouldings
- need to get the bumpers rechromed and I have disassembled a door handle and had it rechromed and reassembled it. might post pics. quite a pain to do as had to have pins turned up etc
-need to get frontscreen fitted
-need new tyres with whitewalls maybe
-then get the qld modification plate then go and get the motor tuned up

Im trying to get as much done as i can whilst im on uni holidays

cheers mate, was hoping to source a 240c grill and headlight surrounds, they look a bit more classy than the plastic 260 grill

put new rear shocks in today, really need to get some chroming done so i can put more of the car together

I think a restored 260C grill is really trick but each to their own. I can see the attraction to the metal ones too.

yea i think your right there, my original grill is fairly tidy so might just use it, can always change it later on

got the front windscreen in today and did some other bits and pieces, back at uni on monday so the datto might sit around for another 3 months. connected the front headlights and they dont work, and when i turn on the headlights it turns on the electric fuel pump

I think maybe the guy who wired up the motor etc may have hooked that up to the lights ??? good job for an auto electrician i think

will try get some pics up as its starting to look like a car now!
