Haha thanks mate, they had actually gone brown and i youtubed how to clean them and fine steel wool and dishwashing detergent is the way to go. really worked well

Hey this is looking fantastic! In fact that's an understatement... it's simple incredible, hell of a sleeper with the RB tucked away in there too.

Now I note you had/have a parts car? Still got it... there's a couple of small things I'd like from mine, and parts in NZ are tricky to find for these old buses. Interior parts basically, especially if it's got cream door trims...

Would be much appreciated if you can help.

Fantastic sleeper Mitch, the work you have done is amazing. i have read that you want the OEM tacho, i will look for it, also the sedan taillights and the outer handles.

Camilo- Thanks that would be great if you could look for those parts :) would be excellent (I am after the tacho thats in the dash)

Hezath- The car still hasn't had its proper tune on the dyno and i have been told to drive it normally until then lol pretty sure I dont want to destroy the diff just yet :giggle:

H190s love it......if you dont side step the clutch :shock:.... i used to hit mine with a 75 shot of n2o for laughs (get it). I think that diff is doing time under Marks coupe now?....

I think the diff might be but i thought mark had or was getting a ford 9inch for it?

Mitch, you're correct but the 9 incher isn't in yet. :(

That's the upgrade when I get round to adding a little boost'n :wink:

How about getting an XH ute diff or something and putting that in? Borg Warner 78 kinda thing, OEM or aftermarket LSDs available, same stud pattern already, suit leaf spring mounts etc. Might be able to get one the same length and all you need to sort out is brake assemblies and a tailshaft?

I could but......I already have the 9 incher and the tailshaft. They're all parts I still have from a previous project.

It's a limmo with 3.7 gears. Now I just have to see if I can figure out how to put the 430 discs on there.... :roll:

lol you will sort it out, dropped the datto off to get a tune at the mechanics he reckons he will run 17psi through it. I am getting an operation on my knee on monday and will be out of action for 6 weeks so lets hope he gets it done by then :giggle:
