Hi all, my mechanic got in contact with me today and said he gave the datto a tune. Originally we were going to try and run 17psi but he told me he tuned it with 13psi and it made 225rwkw. He said he was worried about the standard diff. Thats good enough for me as I want to drive it and not waste time changing the diff and being a poor uni student I cant afford a diff swap. that is all :D

Mitch, I'm lucky to have 100rwkw ATM. I can't imagine what it would be like to have 225! Even with a turbo on board eventually, I don't think I'll be making anywhere near that sort of power. :hail:

Enjoy it! 8)

yes that will be enough, especially if it's a single spinner still, on cheesecutters. the chassis on these things are so terrifyingly bad anyway, it will be a deathtrap with much more than that and standardish suspension. enjoy it and drive!

I love the mutual lack of respect that we have for the chassis/body & suspension in our Cedrics.

Although I think we overstate it badly

these cars are built to cruise not race so I am quite happy with its straight line performance :D

Yep, they're not race cars but having said that, I enjoyed throwing the coupe around Eastern Creek. It was predictable and fairly neutral, helped by lowering, some negative camber, heavy duty sway bars, increased rate springs, bump stops removed and sticky Dunlop D1 rubber on all corners.

In summary: Race car...no, bags of fun...hell yeah!

Yeah just like most RWD cars!

How did you get negative camber dialled in without hitting the pivot point against the inner guard?
