Well after buying my new 200b with the N/A SR20 i was thinking of a cheap front brake setup. I'm wanting to know if anyone has tried/ fitted a complete R31 front strut to a 200b or what is need to make all of this work ??

Any info or pictures would be much appreciated.

Cheers Graham.

Doesn't work, R31 spring won't fit into the 200B strut tower. You can either use R30 struts and fit the R31 brakes to that, or turn the R31 struts into adjustable coilovers.

By the way, this has been covered, I'd suggest doing a search

what about 910 bluebird struts?? im not sure if they will fit but the spring is alot smaller than the R31. then the r31 brakes all bolt straight on to the bluey strut

I run R31 struts in my 200b, i just welded the 200b spring seat onto the r31 strut. still run 200b springs. :-)

The "hole" or recess in the base of the R31 strut is larger than a 200B one, so all that will be holding the strut in is the bolts. Probably work OK, but I'd do it properly - Datsport sell (I'm pretty sure) as spacer to take up the slack.
