Looks great. Excuse my ignorance but what's the arrangement you've got on the oil system there?
Nah man, that's cool, it's a factory water/oil cooler that I had on an L20A ET engine I bought from Japan in the late 80's.

I've never seen anyone use one until I spotted one just recently for sale on Yahoo Japan. I considered buying it but I don't really need another one.

Thanks for the comments gents, it's been waaaaay too long to get to this point. I'm keen to get it finished and on the road. :giggle:

The manifold is a four barrel adapter from Cartech in the US.

The colour is Argon silver, a Ford colour...i thought exactly the same thing about your car when I saw it painted

Cheers for the comments guys.

Honestly, that engine looks 100x better than any CA, SR, RB, VG etc engine you could have put in there.

It's almost show quality, actually, it really is.

Keep up the fantastic work mate!

Thank you everyone :o

I never wanted this car to be anything but a toy.....certainly not a show car......it's not up to that standard. I'm still not sure how I'm going to use it when it's finished......might start by driving it  and go from there.

Mitch, I love the idea of an alternate Nissan powerplant. Your car will be very quick and smooth, I'm into that. My mate Dave has taken that idea and put a VQ30DET into an R31. (His deceased 230 is where your bootlid strip comes from) It's his daily and it stings! So continue with YOUR machine and you'll know that you made the right choice after your first 'drive' around the block mate.
