It's supposed to clear mid morning, whatever that means.

But either way Stu, it's a cruise no matter what you bring.

I've got heaps of food, made easier by Coles giving me a discount on top of all the special prices once I hit the manager up for a Movember discount.

Anyone interested in an East Pre Meet around 9.30 somewhere?

You might have said something earlier, like before we went and bought all of the food! Luckily we have allowed for extras...

I am currently printing off maps with directions so hopefully everybody will know which way to go. Ignore the rain, hope your Datsun rustproofing worked and come along for the cruise! See you all in the morning.

Hope 2nd part was nice, 1st part was ok except traffic and the stop starts.

Cheers to the guys who took part in the cruise, and thanks to Whammo for taking the pics on our exit. I hope you get the diff situation sorted out in the ute. Missed the XP on the way out! I love the sound of a mild windsor.

All up we managed to raise from the cruise $210. But $50 of that was from my dad. I think that was his way of apolagizing to Ange, Lamb Daquiri and I for the bad flood instructions.

You can find all my pics HERE. My old man has uploaded his too.

And thanks to my work, Holinger Engineering for supplying the food and drinks, and to Coles for a discount. But Also to my wife and dad and his missus for pitching in and getting it all on the go as we would have been waiting a while for me to get BBQing.

I had a great drive in the first section. My daughter was funny as in the twisties. At one stage through Hurstbridge I was pegging it pretty hard and Mysh was playing on her iPod and wouldn't take her eyes off it and was slamming left and right into me and the door complaining... And the second half I wasn't as familur with the roads as I should have been and made a couple of late turns but whenever I turned the wheel the thou went there. Even if it was protesting a bit.

Love the HR Stu. Even my dad was a bit in love with it.

Next time I'll try and sort a date earlier in Movember and register it with Movember to do it all properly. Maybe one bigger cruise followed by a BBQ. I enjoyed meeting new guys and catching up with the older members. And hanging sh!t on Jimmy. That's always tip top. Although it must be said, violence against women is not cool. So my bad...

Had a good variety of cars and Stu's HR and his mates XP were a welcome sight. But the suprise for me was Daves KE27 Corolla Sprinter. That car is ane serious piece of old school ledgend.

Sone Pics.

What a great day! The weather started out pretty ordinary (as you can see in some early photos) but turned out very nicely. Some really cool cars turned up, most noticeably Dave's Corolla, Gary's ute (that thing is so cool!), Ange's 1200 ute (My friend still loves the idle) and of course all others. After Gary's minor gearstick issue he and I ended up going on our own cruise which wasn't too bad. Wisey's 180B made some interesting pops on deceleration, just needs a decent exhaust now!

You can see in the first photos how wet it was. I even managed to (accidently) get my auto 200B wagon a bit out of shape at one point, a feat I initially thought impossible.

It was a good day out in the end with some very fine machines on display. But I have to say, I was horrified when I saw that goth chic with a moustache. Tom and I were planning on landing and taking her with us but what sort of woman grows facial hair? Those goths...so we left it in stealth mode. Although the stealth mode was starting to play up at the last meet point so some of you may have seen our hasty departure. Wow she looked horrifying.

Also I want to thank the goth chick who helped map out all the routes, ramp people up and primed off all the colour maps. Top job. Thanks Alastair for all your help.

Rodger, at woodlands we noticed a fuel trail from a plane. Did your jet pack mechanic work on the DC3 looking spaceship?

It's not so much a 'Datsun' thing with Al, it's just that he reconizes the signs from years of having the 'Green200B' falling apart whenever he turns the key.

Loved the ute. Has a very good look.

Thanks Revhead for doing all the organising.
It was great to meet everyone, and a diverse range of Datos (and non Datsuns).

So, what's next??
