Since last summers heat gave me heat stroke and 3rd degree burns thanks to the vinyl seats I'm wondering if anyone has or knows where I can get an air con unit to place in my 180b before this summer comes around?
Thanks, Alex.

You may be able to find a factory set up on a 180B wreck somewhere, they do exist. Otherwise grab a setup from an R30 skyline or an 810/910 Bluebird.

Air con was an option on the last of the 180Bs- 1977 only, I think. There were probably aftermarket setups at some point, too.
200B stuff should be the same under the bonnet, although the condenser might be a little different. Hard part is the under-the-dash stuff (evaporator core and controls, etc). Any original stuff at the wreckers is 35 years old and unlikely to be pristine. Modifying other stuff to fit is a huge task. Maybe a radiator/air con specialist can supply a generic system to suit.

Sure, it's possible but there's a lot of work in it- much of it under the dash. Good luck!

Hi

I've just purchased a 180B sss parts car which happens to have the original air con system in it, I know they're quite rare and Im not sure if I will be using it in my new project, so if you're interested send me a pm.

Cheers!

Alex
