Hey all just trying to workout what the 3 pins go to on the alternator? As I don't have the original s13 batterie side loom, I gather the big lug on the back of the alternator is to go too the + batterie? I looked on plms at there diagram but it doesn't tell me whats what on the alternator

Two go to the battery, and the other to the charge light on the dash

Big fat white one is your main charge line. Runs a 75 amp fusible link back to the battery cable.
The Thin white one is the sense line, and should run a 25amp (i'm pretty sure from looking at my fuse box lid) fusible link to the battery line also.
The thin white with red trace one is your charge light.

Cheers mate that clears things up for me but 1 more Q there was a wire (white with reddish strip) it was originally on the main power feed lug on the l series alternator and it looks to run upto the fuse box. Would this be the sense wire?
